¡Reviews!

So, I've decided there should be a section of this site dedicated to reviews, because that's just an itch I need to scratch.

<Pithy, well-timed joke!>
Is there something you love, and you want the world (or at least me and my 2 readers) to enjoy it, as well? Is there something that's piqued your interest, but you want someone to test the waters first? Is there something you loathe and you don't want to suffer alone? Well, now's your chance! As it stands, I would love to make this blog less about my aimless ramblings, and more about reader-suggested aimless ramblings. So, in an attempt to do so, I'm opening up this page to your recommendations in the following categories:

-Movies
-Video Games (I currently have access to a PC, Wii, PS2, and PS3 - anything on systems prior is probably too much of a pain in the butt to find, so we'll keep those at a "maybe")
-iPod Touch Apps
-Books/Comics/Graphic Novels
-Music

I will do my absolute best to investigate everything posted on here (I won't blame you for taking advantage of that, just be merciful), and I'll be sure to give you a shout-out in the review post as well. Also, please be patient with Book and Video Game suggestions as they may take a wee bit longer to finish than a movie or CD. Thanks, all! I'm really looking forward to your suggestions! I'm ready for a few new adventures. How about you?

  1. What was your review of The Social Network? We just finished it and these were our impressions:
    1. Coming from big Aaron Sorkin fans (Sports Night never gets the love it should), we loved the script. Very intelligent.
    2. Based on what I've read, they did a very good job at portraying how computer/software engineers think & talk with each other and other people.
    3. As much as I enjoy Justin Timberlake as a musician (if Netflix has it, watch his live HBO special, phenomenal), I can understand why he wants to pursue acting for a bit. He played the part very well.
    4. I remember an article detailing the process they used for the actors who played the twins; I need to go find it.
    5. Parents of teenagers need to watch this movie, so they can drill in their kids heads that the internet is written in pen, not pencil. Everything they do online, will come back.

    I think that's it for right now.
